Claudia Lacey is a graduate from the University of Bristol, UK, where she read law. During her degree, Claudia developed a keen interest in climate change, both from legal and social standpoints. As such, she became an active member of the university Sustainability Society and also wrote her dissertation on domestic climate change regulation. As well as having a keen interest in climate justice, Claudia is also passionate about helping local communities. To this end, she has undertaken a number of voluntary placements, such as in charity shops and dementia care homes, and was awarded the Bronze Worldwide volunteering award for her efforts. Some of Claudia’s other notable achievements include securing the title of County Latin Speaker for two consecutive years, and winning the national LexisNexis Treasure Trail Award for speed and accuracy of legal research. Claudia has amassed a great deal of legal work experience and is planning on completing the LPC on the road to becoming a qualified solicitor. She has secured a vacation scheme which she will complete in the summer of 2019.
