2018 Gold Medallists share their Winning Submissions

2018 Climate Law and Governance Student Essay Competition Gold Medallists Sujay Natson, from the University of Oxford, and Jellie Molino, from the University of Turin, have kindly agreed to share their award winning submissions: 

Sujay is passionate about finding solutions addressing the inequality of climate change impacts, at the intersection of climate litigation, climate finance as well as loss and damage, to achieve justice for those marginalised. Born in India, raised in Singapore and educated through engagements around the world, he has experience working with NGOs and Least Developed Country negotiators within the UNFCCC context. Sujay’s winning submission, titled “Using Specific Examples, Discuss the Development of Climate Litigation Internationally”, is able to be viewed here.

Jellie is finishing her PhD research project on “The Role of Multilateral Development Banks in Promoting Sustainable Public Procurement for Innovation Towards Smart Cities” at the University of Turin (Italy). She holds an LL.M (US), EMBA, J.D., and BA (Philippines). She has been a member of the Philippine Bar since 2007.
